I have gotten the proverbial wild hair and chosen "Vote Phyllis Marcuccio for City Council" as the code name of my new story, in honor of the 3.2 million yard signs strewn across my neighborhood. It's really not that far gone as a code title. The actual title is only one word shorter. Still, I shall probably contract it to Vote Phyllis.

Before I can get too deeply into it, though, I have to write up a review of the Matrix Reloaded DVD for the Sci-Fi channel. If I manage to bang out a scene of Vote Phyllis as well, I will be very pleased with myself. But I'm not risking fruit if I don't.

Also discovered a new antho on Ralan of nasty elf stories, (Cloaked in Shadow) and it just so happens I have a couple of those in the trunk. I've never heard of the publisher. Their other projects appear to be collections of winners of their sword and sorcery story contests, and there are some ways you can give them money for looking at your stories or commenting on them, so I'm a little dubious. Anybody have any experience of them?
