Someone at work as been bringing in little baskets of locally-grown (and presumably organic) strawberries and depositing them on the "share" table where we share little food goodies with each other occasionally. If you have seen Firefly, and watched the second episode (oddly enough, the pilot), then you've probably also seen that expression on Kaylee's face while eating that strawberry... mmm... I adore strawberries. But the locally-grown ones are best. I'll never be able to enjoy a California strawberry the way I enjoy these, especially after a few months of generic under-ripe fruit from the supermarket.
