Mood:
Very Tired.

=================================================

Location: Work.
Project: One last meal from the cafeteria.
Listening: Nothing. Nothing at all.

Jon and Anthony have both been reduced, so Jon called Hitoshi to come over and "cover" for them in the shipping dock in case something was delivered. Hitoshi was afraid. So was I. I still am. I don't put it past anyone at this point to lie to get him over there, even though they don't have to.

Tyrone, one of Hitoshi's oldest friends and fairly high up the ladder in Broadcast Services, called to tell us that he had been terminated this morning. He joked that he was "finally free". I tried to laugh with him.

Jon called to say goodbye and told me not to worry, that we were "pretty safe, I think.". This made me feel even sicker. I don't want to be safe. I don't want my job--not if it means that Jon and Anthony lose theirs. No one's really relying on me. No one's waiting at home for news, wondering about the kids and bills. No one's looking to me for answers that I don't have...

*sigh*

So the current count is as follows:

Jon, Import/Export, my supervisor.
Anthony, Jon's assistant.
Ray, mailroom supervisor.
Tyrone, account rep, Broadcast Services.
Nancy, Manhatten Beach office manager.
Karon, Nancy's assistant.
Judy, account rep, Broadcast Services.
