=================================================

Location: Home.
Listening: "Cradle Of Love" by Billy Idol.

Valentine's Day, and I decided to begin the morning with a quiz gleaned from an acquaintance's journal:

Which Buff Girl Are You? Find out @ She's Crafty

Considering that I'm not at all a Buffy fan, I'm not sure I can fully appreciate this, but hey. Sounds good to me.

As testament to exactly how close I am to falling face-first onto my keyboard, please note that, when recording my "Location", I confused my office with my home. I won't correct it, as I find it an accurate reflection of my coherence at the moment. Feh. Blargh.

Fast forward five hours...

Awake now and working, working, working, as Thursday tends to be a busy day for me (multiple weekly reports due, etc.). However, I did manage to find the time to take another silly quiz. Behold:

Which Star-Crossed Marvel Lover Are You?

This alternately pleases me and makes me wonder. I've always had a spot for Rogue--I know few who haven't, really--largely because she just seems like someone worth getting to know. She's also a Southern girl, so there's a little regional identification there as well. Plus, I think that a lot of people (not just women) I know have felt "untouchable" at one time or another, so Rogue's story strikes that chord. It makes me wonder because quite a few of the people I've been involved with have, for want of a better term, a "thing" for Rogue that they've nurtured since grade school. It's always seemed a strange coincidence.

A boy I know once described a story to me, a piece of fan fiction that someone had written about Rogue and Wolverine, that led to my having the Bull Durham "Oh...my..." response. All I'll say is that it involves parachute silk. I'll see if I can track this person down and wheedle them into posting their piece somewhere. I know more than a few folks who I think would really enjoy it.

Oh. I found my first grey hair at lunchtime. Silvery grey, right in the middle of my part. Peter apparently noticed it last night, but didn't want to mention it.
