Been wondering lately how to do something for your fellow man, woman and child? Especially those that like to read? Wonder no more! You, too, can make a donation to the ravaged libraries of the Gulf Coast, which are in desparate need. All you have to do is click on this link, which will bring you to the site of the Dewey Donation System, and links to Amazon wish lists of those libraries devatated by Hurricane Katrina.

Amazon makes it easy for you to select, click and send, right to Mississippi or Louisiana or wherever. I donated a copy of All the King's Men to the Gulfport Library of Biloxi, Mississippi, which lost its entire children's, adult fiction, and audio-visual collections when flood waters washed through the whole first floor.

What're you gonna send 'em?
