It's been entirely too long since my last entry. I think of things I want to say and then wonder if others really care, and I really don't feel I should bother people too often. But it has been 2 months since my last entry...

I've been busy reading (such a hardship), and doing the donkey work on RTE. Keeping track of who has which book, where are our draw books, will the reviews be ready in time. Thank goodness for Sharon Wheeler, our editor. We email back and forth several times a day, but ultimately, she does all the work in editing the reviews and writing the weekly comments for the site.

The reason I considered writing today is that Pari Noskin Taichert, author of the Sasha Solomon series, published by the University of New Mexico press, (THE CLOVIS INCIDENT, THE BELEN HITCH) has blogged about con etiquette. Not that I have noticed any bad behavior at cons I have attended, but if you will be going to your first one sometime in the near future, you might find her notes of great help. They can be found at Murderati.

The Antiques Roadshow season starts entirely too soon. On June 17, we'll be in Tucson; on June 24, in Salt Lake City (if anyone knows about doing genealogical research at the LDS library there, please contact me, I need some help) and the following weekend, I'll be at Thrillerfest.

July brings us to Mobile on the 8th and Milwaukee on the 29th. The last show we will be doing is Philadelphia on August 5. ARS will also be in Honolulu on August 26, but we will be at the SF Worldcon here in S. California instead. I get tired just looking at the itinerary. 'til next time, stay well and enjoy the summer.
