Ok so my morning started off a tad earlier than normal. I had to take both girls to their eye check ups. I made their appointments a few months ago and made them very early so I would not have to miss that much work and the kids would not have to miss that much school. Well for starteds I should have looked ahead and saw it was half day so who cares lol. Well their appointments were for 8:00am and 8:30 am and the eye doctor has two offices one in Bellevue and one in Seattle, I always go to Bellevue it is less chaotic, friendlier and just nicer in general. I had to leave here by 7:00 am to get them there by 8:00. I woke up at 5:30 to prepare the troops as I say. I normally wake at 6:40 so that was kind of difficult for me and the kids and that is the start of our day. We get on the road and the kids want breakfast and I want my ritual "coffee" diet coke actually. So I stop at ampm get them a juice and a milk and a breakfast burritto and a muffin. On the road again we go, we arrive at the clinic at 7:58 am LOL. I was so excited we were early as we are never early. I go to check in and I am informed my appointment was made for the Seattle office WTF are you for real? I never ever ever go to Seattle I hate the city and the freakin clinic. They tried to tell me I made the error, I argued until they admitted it was an error with the person who scheduled it. They say well lets see if we can squeeze you in, excuse me? They come out of the back and say we can not see you today but made you an appointment for next tuesday...........WHAT? Um no I can not take my kids out of school and myself out of work for another day. So at this point it is about 8:15 and I say well if I go to seattle can they see me there and they say yes just hurry we will call and explain the situation to them. Ok so I haul the kids back to the car and haul ass to the seattle clinic that I have never been to. I call when I am close and ask for specific direction and what floor the clinic is on. I get there and walk into the clinics 5th floor, I had to go to the 4th floor. I get stopped by security telling me I need a badge to go stand in this line of like 10 people and get a badge. WHAT? It is now 8:35-8:40 so when the guard turns around I leave and go to the 4th floor and low and behold get stopped by another security telling me I need a badge. I am so thouroughly pissed at this point I tell the security gu ard everything and he says hold on I will hand write you a badge. He comes back and asks me for my ID WHAT? I say my name is Shannon my ID is somewhere in my purse and he says ok he then says what is the patients last name (My kids have different last names) I tell them their last names and he says no I just need their last name not yours OMG I say no that one is this and the other one is this he says oh this-this no dumb ass two kids two last names he says oh ok. I then say where the hell is the eye clinic he says no you have to go to registration there and they will tell you where to go for the eye clinic (8:50 now). I go over and ask for assistance and they say take a number WTF ok I take a number 27 then here them call 23 OMG I wanted to scream so loud.Finally at 9:00 am I get called to desk 7 I sit down and then was told oh no you have to move I am not finished with the previous person, why the fuck they tell me to sit here then? So I move and hear them call 28 excuse me? Finally finished with said previous person and I was called over again I say are you sure LOL. I tell her my childrens names she says oh your the one who mixed up locations....excuse me? No lady I did not!!!! She then begins to ask me their life story and I hear someone calling my name and saying are you here yet. I get up and say I am right here and have been here she says come on back the registration lady says no you need to sign these forms first....WHAT? I say no I am going to my appointment bring them to me when they are done printing. I then leave and go to my appointment. Half way through my first daughters visit the registration lady comes in and says I guess you can sign these here? Why does it matter where I sign them ? Finally get out at 10:45 and go to get my kids glasses scripts sent in. Come home drop the kids off and go to work.I was due to start at 12:30 and I got there 12:29. Awesomtastic day let me tell ya LOL. That is my vent for the day.
