Time to resurrect this journal/blog/whatever, and it has nothing to do with Easter--it has to do with me being tired of living in the Land of Have To.

The last few years have been kinda nasty, actually. Nasty job with a truly evil manager came to an end in a rather traumatic fashion last August (and I heard later that the evil manager got demoted; nice to know I wasn't imagining it) then straight into school, thinking I'd have plenty of time to write, only to find out that, um, you know, electromagnetism is *hard*. Then spring semester, and a part-time job to go with the classes (though both classes are easier this semester) and still no writing done. Not much of anything done except What Must Be Done. Damn, I'm tired of that.

So--no more. I'm quitting again, and I am resurrecting not only this journal but my bad-ass writer self. Not that my bad-ass writer self ever existed before, but she does now.

Stay tuned or not, but let me be a lesson to you. All have-to and no want-to is no way to live.
