Haven't been here for a few days, mostly because I've been finishing up at work and doing school stuff, and not writing.

That will change soon; first I had a take-home calculus test this weekend that took a long, long time. He likes to make them tough if we're going to have access to books and notes, and you can't really blame him. But a free weekend will have to wait a bit longer. I'm behind on assignments, too.

I've wondered if this whole back to school thang is really a very good idea. Do I really need to put myself through all this when my ostensible motive is simply to move into science writing?

And yet, I truly believe the unit circle is a thing of vast and incomparable beauty, on so many levels.

Heck. I like the stuff. And I can't spend the next twenty years writing about financial software. I just can't.
