Gary's mom and sister are here. They are very sweet people. I like hanging out with them. They have great senses of humor and are very down to earth and fun.

But--no homework, no writing. Very tired. And--here my true weasel nature appears. They get a kick out of spending hours (and hours [and hours]) in tacky souvenir shops that all sell the same t-shirts and shot glasses. If I hadn't been spending the last however many months and years of my life doing crappy stuff that I hate I would probably not have been so miserable, but--there you are. Today was pretty horrible. I am so resentful of every moment controlled by someone else's whims right now that it must be verging on the pathological.
