Normally I like to listen to albums straight through, whether on CD or the ipod. But this morning I decided to hit shuffle and list the first twenty-five tracks in order. I've excluded duplicate artists, just because. Also classical tracks, because a random movement of a concerto or symphony is meaningless. So as a scientifically degraded exercise in time-wasting:

Cornershop – Born Disco; Died Heavy Metal
The Buzzcocks – Lipstick
John Coltrane – Welcome
Guns N' Roses – Sweet Child O' Mine
Chet Baker – Time After Time
Bob Dylan – With God On Our Side
Old 97s – Desparate Times
Led Zeppelin – The Wanton Song
The Chemical Brothers – Sidewinder
The Crystal Method – Ready For Action
Flipper – Full Speed Ahead
Metallica – Sabra Cadabra
Busta Rhymes – This Means War!
AC/DC – Rock And Roll Damnation
The English Beat – What's Your Best Thing
Atari Teenage Riot – By Any Means Necessary
Meat Puppets – Things
Billy Bragg – Sexuality
The Accused – Sick Boy
Outkast – Ms. Jackson
Robert Cray – The One In The Middle
Killdozer – Free Love In Amsterdam
Jimi Hendrix – Bleeding Heart
Dead Kennedys – Ill In The Head
Terence Trent D'Arby – TTD's Recurring Dream

Now I just need to finish copying the rest of my CD collection. I'm through O. P through Z should go quicker than A through O. We'll try this again at that point.

Also, the meme going around is that after listing the tracks, one is supposed to append "in my pants" to the end of the track listing. I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader. Except to note that "Sick Boy In My Pants" rocks.
