So all pets were fine when I got home yesterday. Today is the real litmus test -- a full work day of suppressing their urges to defecate, micturate, aggravate, mutilate or violate.

Last year at this time it was Boris and I alone with the cats. Boris had badly sprained a paw, and so was thankfully well sedated to keep him off his feet. So things were quiet, though beneath his medically-induced haze Boris knew that he should be jumping around and whining at me to play with him. Now Boris is healthy and, more importantly, doesn't need to whine and bug me when he's bored, for he has his Vinnie and they most certainly did spend all yesterday evening wrassling. Until 10:30 when they both fell into comas.
