Tonight Mrs The Fyd and I should have been at a Melvins with Jello Biafra concert. Jello would have just been a side-show for me, but I've been a Melvins fan for a long time and have kicked myself for never seeing them live. Unfortunately, I've been dealing with a cold all week, and when I got home from work and took the dogs for a walk, I realized how tired I was. Additionally the rain is one of those where the drops feel like freezing jelly on your face, so the prospect of waiting for a bus to get to the show, getting chilled to the bone, while wanting only to stay in the warm home, determined that we miss this event. Tant pis.

I did, however, go down to the basement and make the rock with the guitar. Zac, once I finally get going with recording some of my shredding masterpieces, I'll be sure to send them your way, if only to show you how the rock resides in Portland, not Anchorage.

In other news, Vinnie threw up some rocks a few days ago.
