I really have been working hard the last few days -- at least compared to when I was in my post-blizzard depression. I am kind of proud of myself for not just giving up when my I got so behind while I was fixing my computer problems. I actually wrote things last week -- a new scene for a story I workshopped about a month ago that I'm hoping to revise into a nice journal-worthy submission, and an essay about my family that I will probably never show to anyone, but it was nice to kind of clear my head of all the fuss that's been swimming around in there. I need to decide what I'm going to work on for my next workshop submission -- I could work up another section for my intended thesis project, or just a completely different story. I have more than a month, but I know I won't get any work done while I'm in OK, so that's a week gone right there.

I think maybe I'll start keeping more of a log on here of what I'm working on, partly because everyone is always asking me what I'm working on, and partly so I can look back and see how I'm progressing. And of course if I ever actually get anything published anywhere it will be posted in very big red letters across this site.
