Reading: I honestly can't recall. I might be in between things
Music: NOFX
TV/Movie: Tripping the Rift (season 2)
Link o' the Day: Project LRN: Learn Japanese RPG

Real short entry today as I am still busting my ass on a big project with a very near deadline. Ended up oversleeping this morning, getting up at the atrociously late hour of 4:50am.

Huh.

Still, no complaints. I'm really behind pulling this little project off on time. Call it a personal test.

But that's neither here nor there. I was considering writing about past jobs I've had. I have been employed as the following:

Camp counselor
Verger
Bouncer
Roadie
Burger flipper (several times)
Short order cook
Dishwasher
Writing Tutor
Administrative Assistant
Janitor
Maintenance man
Gardener
Copy monkey
Shift manager
Typesetter
Painters Assistant
Bookstore employee (twice)

Let's see--things that might not count as jobs (i.e., they mostly fall under the "self-employed" category, but made me money anyway...

Busker
Writer
Graphic Artist
Visual Artist
Freelance typesetter/layout artist

I must be missing a few.

Some of these jobs were very interesting. Some dull as dishwater. Some just plain weird.

Ah, the things we do for money! In college, my slogan was "anything for a buck." Some things never change.

I may revisit this list and write about a couple of them. Any requests?

Okay, back to work....

Today's link goes to Project LRN: Learn Japanese RPG, the home of the Slime Forest Adventure--a neat little Japanese tutorial in the form of a classic NES RPG game.

Interesting to check out. Software is free to download for both Windows and Mac.

Enjoy!
