Reading: The Twilight Zone Scripts of Jerry Sohl
Music: Salty Dick
TV/Movie: TV on in the background. No time for love, Dr. Jones.
Link o' the Day: Forces of Good

Uf dah.

Need to take a bit of a break. Bake some bread. Make the bed. Take out the trash.

Spent a larger portion of the day working on this than I anticipated.

I always have a harder time working with someone else's design concept than when it's my own. Still, I think it's coming out rather well. The entire book is a fascinating little read. As soon as I get the index and the quotes for the back cover, this puppy is heading to the printers.

Quite a bit of work to do today. Not much time for music or movies. I'm going to get as much done today as I can though because I have a very special movie waiting for me tonight...Being There starring Peter Sellers. I saw this movie once more than 20 years ago, but I've read the script many times. It's one of my favorite reading scripts, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing how my readings match up to what I see performed. I only have a few whispy memories of seeing the film, so I'm not putting too much stock in that. I'm pretending this is my first viewing.

Tune in tomorrow for more.

Short post. I may post later, but I need to get away from this computer for a little while. Today's link goes to Forces of Good a blog by Stefan Blitz dedicated to pop culture icons and trends. It's fun little site for comic book and media fans. He is developing a new site that will include other bloggers and columnists--kind of a clearinghouse of geek wisdom--with a wider range of topics near and dear to geekery. It looks like I'll be doing a regular blog there, and perhaps a column. (Not to worry, dear friends. I'll have my copy of Strunk & White nearby so you won't suffer so much of my sloppy journalscape prose.)

Stay tuned for further developments.

Cheers!
