FINALLY!

After finally being assured that I am not mentally ill, our social worker gave the "go-ahead" to continue with our paperwork today. She also reassured Frank Adoption Center that I am not mentally ill.

So Doug can finally send our homestudy, etc. for official approval from BCIS, formerly known as INS before being absorbed into the Department of Homeland Security.

I will know our American government and Russian court system inside and out by the time this is done, I tell you! Once our homestudy is reviewed by Officer Teske of the Michigan Branch of the BCIS, she will (hopefully) approve it and we need no more permission from America to adopt. Whew!
