A bill was introduced to Congress recently that is determining to define what a "natural born citizen" is, according to the Constitution. Currently, any child born outside the US, whether to US citizens or not, CANNOT run for president. Natural born was assumed to mean on American soil.

This bill would allow those children born to citizens outside the US, and any child adopted internationally under the age of 18 to be able to run for president.
