Email from my principal has me relieved. My school scored 95% on the Econ section of our MEAP tests this year. This group is the first one I ran Mini-Society with, and I was hoping they got more out of it than it seemed at the time. Apparently they did!

Also, my class of 8th grade did very well also on the Soc. Studies portion of the MEAP. I will receive specific scores next week when I meet with her.

Because of the scores on the MEAP, principal decided to stick Econ back into the curriculum, but gave it to another teacher. Hmm. I didn't realize I was so easily replaced. That troubles me deep down somewhere. And now I've packed up all my Econ stuff, yet have been asked to share my materials with her. Grr.

But I'm pleased about the scores. Took advantage of principal's goodwill by asking a bunch of unconcerning questions about where I'll be located next year, who I share a room with, etc. Hoping she'll be so pleased with Econ scores, I'll get more info out of her. :)
