-----------------------------------
I don't know what was going on last night - was the moon full? Roman awoke a little at 9pm and yelped a bit, but went back to sleep. At about 10:20 last night, as we were getting ready for bed, he woke again - and screamed. And carried on. And yelled, and cried and... Doug finally went in but couldn't calm him, we brought him out to the living room and couldn't calm him... He cried, heaving yelps, etc. for about a HALF HOUR. What finally calmed him down, you may ask?

Blue's Clues. Which made us angry. Why, you may ask? Because we tried everything possible to calm him, different rooms, toys, etc. Doug finally decided to take him downstairs. As soon as Doug turned on the light at the top of the steps, Roman stopped crying and questioned "bbbb?", his word for Blue. He got downstairs and Roman pointed to the videos, and then as they sat down to watch, he stopped and cheered right up. The lousy so-so just wanted to watch a video! Almost 11 at night! Furious. We decided he was a little too hooked on his videos, so no tv for awhile.

Even on top of that, his crying freaked out the cats. Merry began to run around like a mad cat, attacking invisible spots and eventually "rowring" at the same pitch that Roman was screaming at. Bizarre.

Oh, and the best part? Roman woke up at 5am again this morning. That's 2 mornings in a row. Cross fingers it won't happen on Wednesday morn - it's my turn to get him!
