Working on: getting healthier
---------------------------------
Aye, so I've been sick again. Roman too. Except he's been not so stuffy and more coughing lately, whereas mine is stuffy, stuffy, stuffy. And exhausted. I am so tired, I actually did not check my email last night because it wasn't worth walking down the stairs. That's crazy. TGIF.

Roman turned 19 months on the 12th, and for the past few months I've been keeping records of his "favorites" at each month. Today I thought, how come I don't share that with you all? So here you go.
FAVORITES:
TV: Choo-choo videos (Thomas). Numbers Nursery by Baby Einstein.

TOYS: Mega Blocks. Coloring on his little table. And his choo-choos, of course.

BOOKS: He is not real interested in books at this time, unless it’s about choo-choos. And "Goodnight, Moon."

FOOD: Fruit still. Cookies, now that he can ask for them. Pizza and spaghetti, long noodles only please.

SKILLS: Everything on his own, very independent. Crawling into his own carseat. Going down the stairs on his bum by himself.

WORDS: New this past week: cracker, over, backpack

SONGS: He sings “C is for Cookie” (fills in the cookie word) and “bay, home” in “Down by the Bay.”

Other musings: It has occurred to me (after some math failures) that Roman has recently passed what I consider a BIG DAY. He has now spent more time as a member of our family than he did in the orphanage. In my mind, another "ting" to add to my "yes, he's really ours" knowledge.
