I was really going to give you readers a break, but I just had to journal today. We had such a FANTASTIC day, the little Roma Bug and I. Daddy is off on a "boys' weekend" (ice fishing, video games, and beer from what I understand) and so Roman and I are fending for ourselves.

We ended up after naptime being joined by my sister-in-law and 2 nephews, who are moving tomorrow. We went to The Henry Ford Museum to see the sites. Specifically, the choo-choos! All three boys were so well-behaved and enjoyed their time there. Roman couldn't stop talking about the choo-choos, just kept repeating it over and over. We went into a caboose and he liked that too, wanted to explore all over. He also was fascinated with the yellow choo-choo, kept pointing it out to me at every turn. We also saw the airplanes, the "old time" inventions, the Rosa Parks bus, and various cars and wagons. There is a whole lot to see there, and the Museum had redone a lot of things since I was last there, so I got a little turned around.

The best part of the Museum trip (besides the company!) was the fact that we got in free! I don't know what my SIL did, but all the sudden we were being escorted to the entrance by a worker who let us use his pass. All in all, we had a great time. Roman also enjoyed walking down the long hallway because his voice echoed, so he kept calling out loudly "LA!"

For dinner he and I went to McDonald's. The last time he was there was on our way to GR a long time ago. He ate almost his entire filet o' fish, a bunch of fries, and some milk. He went to bed like a champ, no complaining. He also has named his Raccoon. It is called... wait for it... "Moo." How he came up with this, I don't know. But he brought it over to me tonight and petted it, and called it Moo. The skunk he calls "Psht." Because that's the sound skunks make when they spray, don't you know!
