Working on: Watching American Idol - can you believe it?!
---------------------------------
Been gone visiting Baba & Bop for a couple days for Easter holiday. Roman had a great time. Played with cousin Iris on Sunday, and I mean played together. They were jumping on the bed together, pushing the stroller with her dolls, and Iris was very concerned when Roman bumped his head on something - she patted him and said "it's okay, it's okay." Very cute.

So how the swear word started. I said it Saturday morning when I spilled juice on my shirt. Roman only repeated it once, and I started talking about my SHIRT. But then Daddy said it on Saturday afternoon when he spilled egg dye down his front - and Roman repeated it. And repeated it. And here it goes, while imagining his cute little baby voice: "Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit." Then he pointed to the egg he was putting stickers on and said, "Shit. Shit." It was HILARIOUS! We haven't heard it (or said it!) since. We all were laughing so hard, though.

Went to the beach on Monday afternoon. Walked in the sand, looked at a tree that had been carried from who-knows-where onto the beach. Played on the playground area; slides, stairs, even a wiggly bridge. Roman loved it. Had ice cream last night. When I asked him about it today, he said he had "pink" (it was pink ice cream). Adorable little boy.

Today, since the weather was so delicious when we got home, we went to the park for a half hour. Came home to have juice, and then another half hour with the sidewalk chalk. Our friend Kristen has come over to spend the night rather than stay in a hotel for work, so she took us out to Papa Vino's! Mmmm!

Back to our regularly scheduled life tomorrow. Had a great mini-break though. And oh yeah... he IS in a 3T. The khakis we bought fit him perfectly in the waist, just are REALLY long!
