Working on: "Lord of the Rings: Two Towers" is on the WB. And I'm done with school stuff.
---------------------------------

As a side note, I need a copier in my house. An office-size one, a big Xerox. Or start an account at Kinko's. I have a TON of stuff to copy.

This weekend was fantastic. We drove to Kalamazoo during naptime yesterday. We got to the tailgate site early but all the good spots were already taken. We still got a decent spot, were on the grass at least. Met up with my parents and aunt and uncle. Played with Roman, snacked, grilled, had a great time. Walked to the stadium. Roman was amazed at everything. The people, the tents, the large balloons. We bought him a sweatshirt and he was happy. We sat in the end zone and he LOVED the marching band. Just stared at them, and when they stopped he kept asking for more.

He watched the actual football game too, and was watching the crowd to get his cues - he'd clap, call out "yay!", and put his hands up in the air when there was a touchdown. It was SO cute. He was very serious and intent, wasn't a wiggle worm at all. At halftime we went over to where grandparents and aunt/uncle were sitting, and watched the halftime show. There were fireworks too - and this was the first time he'd seen them. He did NOT like the "booms, bangs!" but he watched them. He liked the colors, not the noise. He was talking about them this morning.

Today we went to my other aunt's house in GR for my grandma's birthday - she is 87 on Tuesday. It was a surprise, which was fun. ALL 13 of her great-grandkids were there, and we took a picture. Roman fell apart and cried the whole time the pictures were being taken. I guess there's got to be one. We also took a "whole family" picture. Missing a couple husbands (one works demolition in Detroit, the other is an on-call fireman) but the picture should be neat anyway. The great-grandkids range in age from 11 months to 15 years. Crazy, huh?

So Roman is fast asleep in his bed, dreaming of who knows what. And we're going to finish "Two Towers" and go to bed.
