This month at daycare Roman is learning to cook. Two to three days a week they do something different; pizza bagels, and today colored milk. Roman reports he made blue and purple milk today!

We bought Valentines today, and Roman is very excited to give them to his friends. He slightly understands the holiday.

We made reservations today for our big Spring Break vacation - Cleveland! Our hotel is 2.5 hours away. I know it doesn't sound very exciting, but it's the act of getting away. A Holidome suite, even - king size bed, rollaway for Roman, two separate rooms, fridge and microwave. Fancy. Two or three things we want to do in town - Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, there's a Natural History museum with a great dinosaur exhibit, I've read. Also a zoo, children's museum. And best of all, of course, the Holidome means indoor pool, which is really all Roman would want to do. So not counting camping, it's our first "getaway" official family vacation!
