Last Night's Dinner Was A Success, And Next Week's Light Diet

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

The stargazing last night was a success, with the sky clearing up in the late afternoon again. I wonder if the same will be true for Monday to Wednesday next week.

I'm bringing home the test papers from last week for checking, and next week will be my lightest so far, with all my astronomy classes set to watch Apollo 13,
to provide the students with a better understanding of the tribulations of the American space program in the light of the Columbia tragedy.

And just to make sure they pay attention, I've cooked up some guide questions to point out facts of interest we will be tackling in future lessons.

This schedule is of course so as not to overstrain myself and compensate for the exertions for the overnight in the province on Wednesday.

And we're also starting our preparations for the students' field trip on March 1. Details to follow.
