On the Weekend Home Stretch

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Candy's improving. Not with her grades, I'll ask her later about that. But at least now she gave me five hours lead time before she asked me to tutor her in algebra. Gave me more than enough time to blog, not like last time where I had to do my entry the moment I got her request, just to be at her place by 6pm. And this time, I get to ride with Justin, who will be finished with his classes by 530pm, instead of commuting.

Today I woke up at 5am, got to school by 6am despite a transport strike near my place because of a traffic rerouting scheme the jeepney drivers don't approve of; they pick up less passengers. Finished checking my mail at 7am, then took a nap before my 8am laboratory class.

Luckily, it was the same experiment I did last Tuesday, and this time, I wrote down all the instructions on the board instead of relying that their listening to my lecture. Just like last Tuesday, these are Human Biology students, supposed to be the cream of the crop out of the pre-med students. And they show it in their attention to detail. Just like engineering students, and unlike Liberal Arts students.

What's surprising is that I slept again at from 1030am to 130pm, after having brunch. Maybe I'm making up for not having napped yesterday. Dunno.

And now I just finished picking at this carbonara with extra cheese that I bought for my late lunch, after already eating a large ear of corn.

When I'm done with this, I'll have an hour and a half of surfing or sleeping, or worse comes to worst, checking papers before I have to meet with Justin. Unless his class ends early again.
