Thinking of Next Week Already

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

I spent until past 10pm again last night helping Candy study for her Algebra test, which included the logarithms from last week. She actually has two algebra exams for today, one which concentrates on the topics of the third trimester, and another one that covers all the topics of the school year. Besides that she has three more exams today, including Social Science and Literature. What she’s lucky with is that by next week she has no more classes.

I finished the activity I had for my classes on stellar coordinates, taking up three and a half meetings on the topic and exercise. The problem was I forgot to tell my first class today to bring over the materials they need for the next classroom activity, so I skipped giving the same assignment to my subsequent classes, and I guess on Monday it’s back to lecturing, which is okay. I’ll reserve the activities for the next few weeks.

I have to finish checking the results of their last exam, which was a little more than a month ago, over the weekend, so I could give it back to them by next week and schedule their next test.

On another front, one of my co-teachers, whose fulltime contract is expiring at the end of the term and will not be renewed, got my resume and gave it to our former MS teacher and his former MS these adviser, who is going to the a Vice President in the new campus opening in Canlubang this June.

We’ll definitely be uprooting if that happens, although the Dean of the college has tried to give him alternatives in the College of Engineering just to stay in this campus.

I’m not even sure I’ll accept the position if they offer me one, but at least I’m keeping that door open.
