Analyzing Attendees Before and During the Training

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Another of the new things that I was able to take part in for this leadership session that did not occur during the last one (well, not that I would know: we just invited the resource persons, and we didn't know what they did at the end of each day of the training) is that there was what is called a critique or clinic before the facilitators themselves could turn in for the end of each very long night.

I didn't even know that some of the facilitators were asked to be "process observers" for the duration of the earlier sessions.

During the first night I certainly felt defensive enough to try to explain some of the students' actions that they pointed out, having known them for at least eleven months beforehand, and having an idea about the sometimes unaware intentions behind some of the things they say or do in the company of their classmates.

At least one observation towards a particular student though I did not refute. This was towards Joseph, a representative of the Computer Studies student organization.

Several days beforehand, after the results of the interviews of the participants had been announced, he had appealed the non-inclusion of his co-officer, even going so far as to mentioning the betterment of the country in the future.

The reply given to him included stating how having close friends during this session sometimes tended to distract participants, and how they can always teach the others not attending what they learned.

Session 1105 was not included. Class dismissed.
