Fortune of Reversal

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Another follow up about the guy who had his iPod and his laptop stolen in a space of two days two weekends ago: he got his laptop back too.

It was, apparently, in the dorm room of some of the freshmen he hangs out with.

But it was under the only bed in the four-occupancy room that wasn't used.

Of course the three students in that room are suspects, but so are some of the more underhanded residents of the other rooms (all in the boy's hall, of course) who may have put it there to avert suspicion.

It also emphasizes the fact that either the owner in his feverish state really didn't remember someone borrowing his car keys during the night of the concert, or that someone who knew of his habits may have been able to get the key from him and return it before he found it out was missing, easy enough in all that activity in the covered courts, the entrance and backstage.

The security office is now asking him to come up with an incident report.

With his iPod it could have been a harmless prank, but with the laptop, it wasn't funny anymore. At least they found out the guy didn't know his password, because all access was done before it went missing.

Now maybe they'll take the discipline of the students staying at the dorm more seriously, since they have been known to go out almost every night to the nearby drinking places.

In other news, the student evaluation will start on Wednesday, on the twelfth week of classes, whe it is supposed to be on the seventh week! Last term it was on the fifth week!

I don't know if this is intentional - a missive from the administration to make it random, or the psychometrician isn't doing her job right.

Session 1755 may be abusing this lax atmosphere in campus of not being strict with set rules. Class dismissed.
