Booked Saturdays and Sundays for November

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

For the next three weekends I will be at retreats. First is the one for the faculty.

This will be the first time in four years that all the college faculty will be together for their annual retreat, instead of being bunched with half of the staff like last year. What's funny is that it comes on the heels of the seminar slash workshop last August.

So there are some who are thinking - even voicing - that this may be superfluous.

The only difference about this is that the brother president will be facilitating.

This is after having just given short sessions during past meetings.

After that will be the two retreats for the graduating students of this year.

According to mission office head Sir Mel, he had split it into two groups of twenty five students each to be less hassle for the facilitators like the one for last year's batch.

This is also what they should have done with the NSTP camping.

And, as usual, even though there were posters telling them about the first-come-first-served nature of the reservation, there were still those who asked to be accommodated after the twenty-fifth participant had signed up, and kind Sir Mel relented.

It probably won't be as sentimental as last year's batch, so I don't expect the dean to show up and have a party in the second night.

And so I guess instead of having my mini-midterm-break during the past few days of no classes, it will be on those days.

That also means the field trip for the general science requirement mechanics lab classes will have to be set for the first weekend of December.

Wow, it's strange that I'm already thinking of next month this early.

Session 1889 sometimes sees work as vacation and vice versa. Class dismissed.
