Waiting for Virtual Reciprocation

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

What's with all of this e-mail back patting going on right now?

It started with the dean, who, for several years now, has been sending e-mails of congratulations for certain (but not all) faculty orchestrated events that's he's graced with his presence.

At the start it was just certain plays and related events that had outsiders present and may have some judgment call on what goes on in the school for which he gives his own ideas of presentation.

Most recently it was the NSTP freshman camping slash recollection, which he had a heavy hand in setting up through several weeks' worth of organizational and planning meetings.

The problem with this is that even then, he had the wrong notion about who did what work, honoring instead those who were just hanging around him crowing about their own ideas and criticisms.

Now (maybe seeing as she didn't get another e-mail of praise about her work in the Christmas committee with the Advent candle lighting, just like her last presentations) someone else has done it, but then maybe it was just to emphasize to the dean who helped and who were present, and to point out by exclusion who weren't, including those who would boycott her work.

Damn, blame Chat and her latest posts in her online journal about sororities that has me coming up with all these hidden agendas in women.

@@ In other news, I have just received a text message from the chair of the election commission that the current SC president will be changing the list of officers for next school year.

I'm willing to bet this has something to do with their party's ticket and the lack (or increase - I won't know until I get the new list) of candidates they have on hand for the next school year's election. But as I kept saying before, these somewhat impromptu changes can't be considered illegal until a new student council constitution is ratified.

Session 1931 uses their power to maintain the upper hand. Class dismissed.
