A/P: So One Track Minded, Some People Are

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Related to the entry in the student accessible version today, of course I had to tell Mr. Most Important Research about the development.

He didn't care though, he still was asking for the IP address and what it was.

I told him there was no IP address yet, since the systems people are working on how to bypass the school's proxy and secure the line.

After that, he didn't reply anymore, or call back as I had asked.

So he's getting back at me for not taking his calls. I don't mind.

I actually found the answer I was looking for in one of the earlier emails we had been exchanging with the Taiwanese researchers.

Besides, when I do get the IP address, I don't have to give it to him because it will only allow the Taiwanese researchers to access their computer, not him (that wasn't part of the deal).

So I can give the IP address directly to the researchers. He doesn't have to appear all heroic being the one to deliver the IP to the Taiwanese when all he did was bug me about it.

As the title of the student accessible journal's entry says, when there's no obligation to rush (no one said we would finish it as soon as possible when we agreed to accept the responsibilities), he has no right to keep insisting on progress at his demand.

But I guess either he realizes that now or he's just too ticked off at the moment to keep on with that behavior he'll resume at a later date.

If he tries to guilt me for my behavior next time we meet, it won't work.

Session 2177 has to balance theoretical imperatives with social realities. Class dismissed.
