A/P: Mediocre Work Will Always Tell

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Finally, the slacker co-teacher gets his comeuppance. According to LG, our board passer and newest hiree, the director of the school of engineering has asked them to report to the board of trustees about the poor performance of LG's batch in the board exams.

Notice that the word "board" was used three times in two different contexts in the sentence above, just a curious grammatical sidetrack.

Anyway, I've been saying all this time that it's his fault, because of all his talk of shortcuts like bringing a short piece of string with him to the exam (it is "not disallowed" after all, according to him) for measuring rope slack.

He has all of this confidence when talking to the students (even about the recent student suicide being "emo" related, which he's only basing on the people who mourn for her with the most comments to others' social network accounts) but when faced with authority who knows he's not performing up to speed, he either shuts up or relies on his automotive charm.

Not going to work this time, that. Besides, this is not his first strike with the brother president, who has already seen his laziness in participating in the community with their absence from a paid conference a year ago just because it fell on a late declared holiday (not even a weekend) and they thought they wouldn't get caught because the administrators weren't present (but there was daily registration).

There's also the "escape" during our latest retreat, just because there was a power failure that night, to his nearby residence.

They were too late for breakfast, but I made sure the president knew where they were. He's not going to forget lightly the fact that again he's not taking advantage of things the school already paid for, instead of announcing beforehand his non-usage.

Session 2369 sees the relative uselessness of this teacher piling up in the eyes of the administration. Class dismissed.
