A/P: Who Will Defend Me Against Them?

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

What is it with parents who always defend their children even when they're already grown up and in college? When will it end?

Don't these people know that they're raising their children wrong?

When are the students going to learn to stand up for themselves?

What will they do the first time mommy and daddy are not behind them anymore and they face life's first big failure alone?

Will they decide to kill themselves and make the world a better place?

Or, worse, will they go to people they consider as friends, complain endlessly and wait to be told that everyone else is stupid and that only them, in their little huddle are always right?

And these kids aggravate the matter by telling their parents what they want to hear, which is their version of events against other people where they were spotless in their behavior.

More likely than not, it's not true though, otherwise the altercation would not have happened in the first place if they were at innocent.

And so they keep on living in their own perfect and delusional world.

Until the next time they step on someone else's toes and the whole process starts all over again where they defend their actions.

Don't they ever get tired? Don't they realize that if they're always working to keep their pride against slights from others, maybe they're holding the wrong things precious?

Session 2371 is half rhetorical and half wanting answers. Class dismissed.
