The Administration Dealing with "Rebels"

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

What does it mean that the next faculty meeting is now in two batches, where the loud reactors are placed in one meeting, while the usually quiet bunch is in another scheduled session?

The predicted rowdy meeting is also scheduled first, so that may mean they are going to wait for the potential reaction of the first group and seeing how it will seep to the second group.

This, by the way, also includes the school controller, so that may mean it’s also about the suggested tuition increase.

@@ In our intimate meeting earlier where the new discipline officer was introduced (as I announced in the student accessible version) the brother president really had to emphasize that the teacher, even though now teaching in the Integrated School, used to be a college teacher.

This is to quell any possible apprehensions some of the college faculty may have (I don’t think they’re expecting any complaints from the students) that the assigned person may not be qualified.

There were also some apprehensions about certain ongoing investigations, one of which is happening during Saturday classes.

There’s also the suspect of several robberies who has now requested for withdrawal, which the roving disciplinarian is expressing doubts about signing the clearance. On my part, if she leaves and the robberies stop, is there any other proof needed as to who was the culprit?

This has to be accompanied by vigilance on the part of the students that if they see the suspect still attending classes with her boyfriend, that they will report it to the disciplinarian immediately.

@@ Because I also don’t want to deal with certain students who are graduating, I’ve asked the secretary of the office of student affairs to collect their clearances for graduation, on the excuse of the purpose that she has to list down those who have passed through the process before making me sign.

One of these is a person who wanted to continue being the president of the recognized student organizations, just because there was a possibility that such unconventional methods are used.

But this is a person who isn’t even one of those nominated as the best student leader for last year.

@@ Another student was his co-president of an organization they founded; there were three presidents during their inaugural year.

But the fact that they changed the chart so that there was only one president in the year after means that they were only dealing with their own egos, since no one in their circle wanted to be an underling of the others.

Session 2499 still doesn’t have one big topic to deal with for the term that fits in one whole post. Class dismissed.
