Stay and Fail or Go and Fail?

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Slacker co-teacher is apparently still planning on migrating to the land down under.

He was sitting at the computer beside me, and had just printed a file on office paper and ink with the heading "why was your application not approved".

Am of two minds about this, because part of me wants him to leave, but another part of me also wants him not to succeed in his endeavors of an easier life elsewhere.

He also has that "over the shoulder" or more like "computer screen next door" bad habit of looking at what I'm doing or typing, such as this post, and asking impertinent questions such as "why is it like that" as if his way of formatting, font coloring and saving a document is the only good way to go about it.

Now he's even asking for help with his younger sister's assignment, who is taking up education.

She needs a one-day lesson plan of either high school or grade school, and he's asking our graduates who have contacts with the integrated school teachers to help him.

@@ I forgot to mention in previous posts that another of my computer systems organization classes had to be relegated to a classroom activity last Monday during our office of student affairs meeting. It won't be the last time, fearfully.

@@ There's this seminar in one of the southern islands that students of the district are invited to.

I talked to the student leaders about it, and of course their first question was if it was okay for them to go even though they hadn't won in the elections yet.

I told them that this has been the case for the past three years, and it's just an assumption on the part of the administration and student affairs that win or lose, the representatives will still be serving the students in some capacity if they are really serious and relaying what they learned in the seminar.

Now they all want to go, even though that means that they will only be given about a third of the budget each, and that they will have to shoulder almost five thousand in expenses.

I have to ask the brother president a.k.a. acting dean if this is okay, for all of them to miss their classes.

Session 2545 thinks good riddance. Class dismissed.
