Taking One's Lumps

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Something that I've been meaning to post here that I’ve been forgetting is about our runaway student.

The latest development seems to be that she already went home, and in fact she was here last Sunday of the Foundation Week with her mother. And it was the same guy who was paranoid that he was being tailed by the police who told us of their presence.

I saw her when I passed her by the hall, with what must be her younger brother in tow.

She looked very different from how she was before, making me suspect that she did and maybe still does now continue that modeling stint, that boosts her confidence and self image.

@@ Today was also the evaluation for the foundation week. Our contributions were acknowledged, although I didn't feel very proud about it, especially since the format of the evaluation was that we would stick little pieces of paper with our comments on large manila papers hung on the walls of the multipurpose hall, our venue.

As it was, the lack of participation of the college students (and faculty were mentioned!) in the exhibit was brought up, although thankfully no fingers were pointed as to the blame.

I myself brought up the lack of activities on the day when most administrators and staff were at a talk about the philosophy of the founder, and what is still relevant to the modern times.

Maybe that should have been when the students were asked to have their noon time show.

I also bemoaned the lack of college presence during the Sunday, although apparently I wasn't the only one who saw that many snuck out of the fun games on Friday afternoon.

In fact, someone wrote down my suggestion about locking the venue to keep everyone there.

I also reasoned out that it was because of the fact that it was only the college that had classes not suspended the following Monday; that's why the students gave priority to rest over community spirit.

Same goes for the badminton tournament being passed up for watching and participating in the field demo.

I wonder what happened to the electronic jeep's presence, as well as the game and recreation booths for the kids.

At least the grade school faculty and the staff were proud of their profit from their booths and bingo that day. It's just regretful that the college faculty association backed out of that financial opportunity.

Session 2753 wonders if there will be a next time being part of the committee for this officer. Class dismissed.
