Attempts to Maintain the Status Quo

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

And things are back to normal again. We should have included the physical facilities office in the meeting with the student council about their sports fest because again the lie is exposed when they said that the head of physical facilities has already given the go signal for their activities.

Because now the head is asking who will be the adult present at the opening games later. I am not available, and apparently even the office of sports development has not assigned either the coordinator or the custodian to be the one there. Besides, I think the custodian does not have enough authority.

Besides, there is already an anomaly with them putting the name of the dean and the president in the program before asking them.

OF course they are going to say it is because they are pressed for time, and that it will not happen again.

I do not know if they were able to answer the question of the dean that she remembers there was no games set during the opening ceremonies.

And I have a sneaking suspicion (what does that phrase even mean?) that the person in charge of the sports fest is already aware of the possible case of drinking in campus he will be involved in, from the teachers part of the incident who were already given their sanctions, after having the pictures posted on a social network, either total guts on their part or stupidity.

Because of that the president of the student council had to be excused from the discipline board due to possible lack of objectivity on her part, to be replaced by the former president, who has sat in on the board last year.

@@ Sometimes it just feels like life is just waiting for you to trip up. You wait and wait all this time and nothing happens.

Just when you get desperate enough to try to cover all the bases at the same time, expecting only one nibble (due to past experience and probability) now there are several acceptances of most offers.

Someone else in the same situation would just juggle them all, but that is fodder for a comedy movie.

Literally, you have to pick one. And when you do, you have to turn down all the others, who will have to have some inkling that you shopped around, and out of all the proposals submitted theirs was found wanting.

@@ The nice thing about the instantaneous communication today is that despite you sometimes getting more information than you need (because there are instances when a person thinks there are no consequences to what they admit through text or email) if you do not want things to change between you and the sender, there are several ways you can deny having read what they wrote.

You can say you never received the missive/s. You can say your SIM was not active at the time (sometimes necessitating that you do by an extra SIM that you can claim you switch to every once in a while).

You can say that you left the phone someplace where it ran out of battery and there were no pending messages when you got it and were able to charge it again (usually the period has to be at least twelve hours).

Session 2851 would rather that some people would not be so vocal with their emotions. Class dismissed.
