The Sins of the Mother

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

The post for today post is very juicy, absolutely scandalous. I have half a mind not to put it up anymore.

This morning from the student center we have a view of the inside of the cars that are parked in front of the west canopy below.

One of the students, a female one, brought to our attention that in one of the cars, a male was seated in the driver side with his back to the window, and on his lap was a female whose lower body was visible in the space between the two front seats. We immediately called the attention of the discipline officer.

The secretary of the office of student affairs also called up the guard station to tell the guard posted at the walkway between the main building and the covered court to go to that area. Sadly, he went the wrong way.

The discipline officer got there ahead of the guard, even with the secretary, from our roost, giving new directions.

The discipline officer even went the long route so they would not see him approaching the car. He passed from the left passenger side, using the car parked beside it to block him from their view.

He actually walked beside the driver side of the car, but from where we were, we could see he did not stop.

Okay, I knew what that meant. It was not students; which actually makes it worse, as it turned out to be a parent and her driver.

But since it was still considered public display of affection, especially visible from the classrooms of the grade 8 to 11 students, then the guard was instructed to approach the vehicle and tell them to leave.

I hope they got the license plate of the car, because unless they have another car they will not use anymore after this incident, the car and its occupants have to be watched wherever in campus it parks.

And I had a perfect opportunity to tell it to the high school principal and his team in the afternoon, because we had a meeting to discuss the formation of a crisis management team, in light of the events in other campuses.

As some of the loyal readers may already have gotten from the news, there was a bomb threat in another campus last Friday.

They had a lot of trouble gathering the students to the field because it was lunch time. This is a good argument in favor of getting a campus wide public address system. Apparently right now we just use large speakers set up in the quadrangle (everyday? I will find out) for playing the Angelus at noon.

So the solution for this and another incident of in-campus stabbing is to have random bag inspections.

We have to check the legality of this, but of course anyone who refuses a bag search before entering the campus will be recorded.

Besides that they already conduct bag searches in classrooms against students bringing mobile phones and portable game consoles, so that actually makes it easy for them. College is another matter altogether.

Session 2939 told you it was juicy. Class dismissed.
