Roads to Be Taken

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

So, both here and in the student accessible version, the post numbers are palindromes. Nice juxtaposition.

By the way, making palindrome into an adjective by making the last two letters IC is not accepted by the spellchecker.

@@ Sometimes it does not pay to make plans, at least plans that you could not back out of without some loss.

It could probably be okay to say yes to friends who ask you to go with them for a meet, but would understand completely (maybe even if not so completely) if you have to cancel because of something a bit more urgent.

Sadly, the same is not true with dealing with corporations, particularly those who sell you tickets to plays and such.

If you have paid, then that money has to be made worth it because if you decide that something else is more important, that is hard-earned money that you have just thrown down the drain.

It would be nice if you could find someone else to enjoy the show in your stead, but what if you could not?

Then there is the vision of dollar or peso bills with wings flying out of your wallet into the Netherlands.

It is a tough choice, and no matter what happens there will be a loss. It is just a matter of which is the smaller loss.

You can only hope that in the long run, you were able to take the right path.

@@ I posted this in another of my expression sites http://tumblr.com/x6v7bopzl today. What I did not realize was that the tagline that I thought was clever was already used, almost word for word, by someone else earlier.

And I did not read it before posting. I do not know who will believe me, but I will state my innocence here.

I just hope no one calls me to it after seeing what I had posted, so I do not have to explain myself.

From all these years of reading the comments of people on some humorous post, I do believe that there are some standard punch lines or quips that all our years of media exposure have wired into our brains.

I guess the incident above is one of them. For me that kind of synchronicity is wonderful, that we got to the same conclusion.

@@ There is a Frisbee tournament in school tomorrow. That alone should be posted in the student accessible version.

But my quandary is whether or not I should send over one of my therapists to service the athletes, just like we did during the sports fest of the employees of the different schools in the district in May of last year.

There will be 80 participants. How many therapists should I bring over, especially since I will be paying for P1000 quote selling unquote space?

Session 3003 wishes it were the day after today. Class dismissed.
