To plummet into the Abyss

So I am in the zone between projects right now. I should print out Evergreen and start rewriting it, but I have not had the energy lately. In fact, at this point it is a major victory if I manage to feed my children.

(No, I am not starving my children. But some days it doesn't feel as if I am doing much more. I am reading Cold Mountain, however, and enjoying it, even though the first chapter was a rather long meandering ramble. It adds something, knowing the landscape, though.)

We finally have a moving date: the movers are coming to pack boxes on April 4. I have arrived at that part where I am pretty sure we've made a horrible decision and we will leave this house only to plummet into the abyss and die penniless, without friends, and having sent all our children to very expensive therapy.

Or at the very least, we are going to get screwed on the housing market.
