So, I went ahead and called my manager this morning, and told her that at this point, coming up on a full year since I started at Collar and Leash, I think I'm due for a pay raise. So, supposedly she is going to ask the owner this afternoon. She warned me, however, that the store is in very bad shape, and that it is likely he will not even consider it. I told her that I didn;t hold her responsible for his answer, but that I would begin looking for a new job as soon as the move is done, assuming no raise.
