Today's episode: in which our plucky heroine has to decide whether to moderate the Committee of Presbytery she has served for lo, these two years.

Plusses:
* Who am I kidding? I love to be asked to step up and take a leadership role.
* Would be on Presbytery leadership team, thereby widening my circles of contacts, which might come in handy if I ever decide to y'know, preach in front of a crowd bigger than 65 people.
* A committee moderator who is not a white 50-something male would finally become a reality in this sleepy little Presbytery. (Okay, there have been others, but there aren't right now.)
* I'm just really grateful that after 19 years in this Presbytery, I'm finally somebody's go-to gal.

Minusses:
* Who am I kidding? I would not know what I was doing.
* Following a hard act to follow.
* Session already thinks I have whored myself out to Synod.
* I'm on two Synod leadership teams, one of which I have five more years of committment to. (But so far they have required almost zero time committment.)
* Spouse
* Wondergirl
* Charging Towards Adulthood
* Am I becoming just the 'gal who can't say no'?
* I might be developing a reputation as a bit of a 'teacher's pet'.
