Rose has been completely delightful the last few days. But in that bad week, I kept getting flashes from this poem:

Outwitted

He drew a circle that shut me out—
Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But Love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle that took him in!

I kept picturing that circle, and it made me feel powerful. My love is stronger than her misery and miserable behavior.
