David and I have been reading about Eeyore’s birthday. David doesn’t seem too concerned about Eeyore’s precarious emotional state or that Pooh stopped and had a little something on his way to deliver the present, but he gets very animated when we get to Piglet’s page. There’s poor Piglet tripping, falling and then, as David will tell you, “Balloon, pop!” I’m not sure he even hears the next page where Eeyore appreciates the gift. Today, the disaster happened and then David said, “Get different one!” I think he felt much better.
