Shut Up, You're Fine Poems for Very Very Bad Children by Andrew Hudgins

Perhaps you turn to poetry to express your deepest feelings, to say even, what you didn't know you needed to say. Perhaps you had high hopes with a title like this that someone would finally rhyme "you're not so great" with "defenestrate." Unfortunately, this book would leave you sadly disappointed.

It touts itself as doing for poetry what Edward Gorey did for cartooning. Except, as John pointed out, Gorey is a poet and a really good one at that. These poems just can't compete. Sure, there are some really wicked ones about Uncle Joe and the cow we slaughter, but if I need to vicariously kill my children, I'm going with Gorey.
