gluten-free cookie making at a gluten cookie decorating party

You go to a party and bring a bottle of wine or a bag of chips, right? We brought:

gluten free cookie dough
cookie trays
parchment paper
rolling pin
cookie cutters

and we should have brought pot holders, cooling racks, spatula and a force field to keep the gluten at bay.

It got pretty funny after awhile.

Anna, could you take that hot tray of gluten off those particular cooling wracks? They are the designated gluten-free ones. We'll be rewashing those.

Sweetheart, please don't touch these cookies with your hands. These cookies are gluten-free and you've been making gluten cookies. I'll just be throwing this dreidel out.

Yes, you all may help cut out the gluten-free cookies, but I need everyone to wash their hands first.

Rose and David, understandably didn't want to help decorate the gluten cookies, but the other kids, understandably, wanted to help Rose and David decorate theirs. I did a lot of psst, Rose and David, come here while the other kids are banging on the piano, I've got a tray ready for you.

Thanks to John's making the cookie dough, most of the g-f cookies turned out great. I mean smothered in pink sprinkles, but that's the point right?
