In our house, the holidays never stop: Pie Day! Purim! St. Patrick's Day!

John was sure we were done with leprechaun catchers this year. This is a project big with the preschool set, but oh no, we are not done with creativity, magic, and whimsy in our house. We still dream of the pot of gold. The kids, exhausted from Purim, found the last shoebox in the house and managed not to fight over it. Instead, Rose turned Mousetrap into Leprechaun trap, including a rainbow to lure it in. David made his box a dangerous pit of blocks.

Several years ago I thought ahead and bought a box of St. Patrick's Day cards to leave treats from the leprechauns. (Shh, don't tell.) I used the last two last night, and to disguise my handwriting I had to write in cursive. I was surprised I remembered any of the letters, but I certainly didn't remember them all.

This year the leprechauns did not rearrange the furniture or pee green in the toilet.
