My college roommate Ruth has come to visit for a week. (Ruth A. for those of you who also went to college with me, but of course, you knew that if you went to college with me.) It's so relaxing and wonderful and nice to be with her.

She is heavily into the game Ingress which is kind of capture the flag and geocaching on your Android smart phone. Or another way to say it, she's thrilled to go anywhere. Driving the kids to Sunday school is a chance to find more portals. Walking around the neighborhood, we can admire the flowers and find more portals. Yeah the zoo with the cheetah exhibit and the portals.

David loves computer games and extra screen time, so he adores Ruth time. She's been teaching him strategy and letting him hit buttons. She also dug up weeds and brought me chocolate. Yeah Ruth!
